Usmiri was a world shrouded in secrets and lies. When the threat of those secrets was being uncovered, a government faction, called the Guild, was created. They moved in the shadows, removing anyone who threatened the world order. When one young woman used a gift she didn’t know she had, a group called the Underground finally rose against the Guild.

Khaly unknowingly brought her mechanical dragon to life, and now she had to run. She escaped with two companions that knew far more about the world than she did. Unsure where to go, danger around every corner, Khaly and her companions must find a way to survive.
